Calling all wine lovers!

In the spirit of entente cordiale and to celebrate all things French, The Samphire Clubis holding a French-themed evening at Truro’s unique wine shop cum lounge bar cum gallery, The Art of Wine.

Enjoying exclusive use of the The Art of Wine for the evening (5.30 – 8pm) of the 25th of September, The Samphire Club members and guests will be treated to plates of specially selected cheese and charcuterie, a welcome drink and, of course, plenty of conversation (in French, if you wish!), catching up with friends and making new contacts.

The Art of Wine team will be on hand to offer advice on wine and The Samphire Club members will be able to make purchases at a special Samphire rate.

Samphire Club member and French language coach, Delphine Recalde from Parlez-Vous? will be encouraging members to practise their French and offering a discounted rate to anyone signing up to her conversation clubs on the night.

A little bit on The Art of Wine…The brainchild of owners Roland Stokes and Enora Senlanne, The Art of Wine perfectly complements The Samphire Club approach to creating the right environment for making valuable connections and embarking on lasting business relationships. With attention to detail that’s second to none, The Art of Wine brings together some of life’s greatest pleasures – fantastic wines, delicious food and captivating art. Roland and Enora have sourced (and tasted!) over 140 different wines from small boutique wineries, lesser-known regions and unusual grape varieties. “Try before you buy” is positively encouraged with The Art of Wine having Cornwall’s only WineEmotion wine dispensing system that lets you choose from 16 (regularly rotated/updated) wines to sample in three sizes (25ml, 75ml or 125ml) with prices starting at just 60p.

This event is strictly limited to 30 people so booking is essential, tickets will not be available to buy on the night.
